Rob, Principal and second generation of Robert Wood & Associates, was born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Rob began working with his father at an early age as a draftsman, he was surrounded by beautiful architecture and comes by his love for fine design naturally.

 

Rob's commercial buildings, custom homes, private clubs, and residential communities can be found all over Michigan and throughout the country. Rob designed all the homes and buildings contained on this website and many others.

Rob studied Industrial Design, Urban Planning, and Contract Interior Design at The Center for Creative Studies in Detroit. He worked for Pulte Home Corporation as an Architectural Designer for over ten years, where he designed fine homes and communities in 41 cities across America, and in Mexico and Argentina. Rob has served on the board of a number of community organizations and holds memberships in several historical societies. He is a former Board member of The Grosse Pointe Historical Society and The Yankee Air Museum.
